Can I receive an escort from an officer to pick up my personal belongings if I feel threatened?

The Paulding County Sheriff's Office will assist with "keeping the peace" while you pick up belongings. This can only be done Monday - Friday from 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM. You must go to the Paulding County Sheriff's Office in person to meet with a deputy and request to be escorted. You must be able to pick up your belongings in less than 15 minutes. You may set up an appointment with the Paulding County Sheriff's Office Warrants/Civil Division for an escort if you require more than 15 minutes. You will also need to make an appointment with the Warrants/Civil Division if this is a response to a court order.
