The Training Division of the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office is charged with conducting training courses for all Deputies and Detention
officers. In 2012 Paulding County Sheriff’s Office employees received 29,705 hours of training. The training division consists of three full time instructors. 

The training complex operated by the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office consist of a 10 lane target system with state of the art turning targets, running man target, and metal pop up steel targets. There is a 40 foot rappel tower, obstacle course and a live fire shoot house. The shoot house is one of a very few in the state. This complex is used by numerous local, state and federal agencies.

The Training Division is dedicated to providing quality training to our Deputies and Detention Officers as well as the numerous outside agencies which attend our training.
