Payments
In Paulding County, taxes are due and payable by November 15 of each year. Interest starts accruing the next day after due date at the rate of 1% per month. A 10% percent penalty and FIFA charges are added 90 days after the due date. The Tax Office accepts cash, money orders, personal checks, and certified funds.
If your mortgage company escrows funds for the payment of taxes, they should pay your tax bill. You will need to send them a copy yourself to insure they are properly notified of the amounts and due dates.
