The Development Division provides assistance to developers, engineers, contractors, and individual land owners with the development of new residential and non-residential projects with regard to:

• Stormwater Quality and Erosion, Sediment & Pollution Control Plan Review. 
• Issuing Grading Permits, Land Disturbance Permits, and Timber Notices.
• Enforcement of the Erosion and Sediment Control Ordinance.
• Erosion Complaints, if sediment and/or silted water is leaving a permitted residential and non-residential construction site.
• Mud in Streets – If erosion is occurring in a public road or right of way.
• Vegetative and Structural Best Management Practices (BMP’s) – Reference to the Georgia Soil and Water Conservation Commission's Manual for Erosion and Sediment Control.
