The Building and Permitting Division issues the following permits for all uses (residential, commercial, and industrial):

• Building
• Electrical
• Heating / Air-conditioning
• Plumbing permits

The building inspectors conduct applicable inspections for all permits issued.

The office also provides information to the public and answers technical questions concerning adopted building, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and other codes.
 
Effective April 16, 2012, the Business License Office has moved from the 1st floor to the 2nd floor in the Watson Government Complex at 240 Constitution Boulevard, Dallas, GA 30132. Any person applying for or renewing a business license/occupational tax certificate on or after April 16th needs to make note of the move. Should you have questions please call 770-443-7596.
