Property Tax (770) 443-7581 Bills and collects property taxes. This division mails out more than 40,000 bills each year. Office Location and Hours The Tax Commissioner's Office is located at 25 Courthouse Square, Room 203 of the Paulding County Annex Building, Dallas, Georgia. Current Paulding County Property Tax Statements Paulding County Tax Commissioner's office is pleased to offer a new "E-Commerce" Service, enabling property owners to pay their property taxes, or to access information about their property on-line through the internet. Paulding County "E-Commerce" services are optional, and serve as an additional method of doing business with us. You may also continue to use traditional methods, such as the U.S. Mail or visiting Paulding County offices in person. Commissioners of Georgia) Click on the link above to be redirected to the
ACCG web site in order to play the video. Those persons owning and occupying property as a permanent residence as of January 1st may apply for a homestead exemption. To receive the benefit of the homestead exemption, the taxpayer must file an initial application. In Paulding County, the applications are accepted year-round and must be filed by March 1 of the year which the exemption is first claimed by the taxpayer. Once you receive this exemption, you do not have to apply the following year. If you move, but still own the property, you are no longer eligible for the homestead exemption. Please notify the Tax Assessors Office if you move.
Paulding County offers several exemptions for senior citizens reaching 65
as of January 1st. Upon reaching age 65, a senior may be eligible for other
exemptions. Senior exemptions are based upon income. You will need either a
birth certificate or driver's license when applying.
