Paulding County Airport Department The Paulding County Airport Department is responsible for the oversight and management of the Paulding County Regional Airport that is scheduled to open in the Fall of 2008. The airport is located six miles west of Dallas off Highway 278 between Hulseytown Road and Goldmine Road. Frequently Asked Questions How large will the airport be in terms of area? The airport will require approximately 750 acres. That does not include the area required for an adjacent business/technology park of approximately 500 to 1,000 acres. What services will be provided at the airport? Services will depend on market demand and may include hangar space, fuel, weather reporting, aircraft rental, charter services, air taxi, flight schools, aerial photography, air ambulance, and other civil uses. Who do I contact about hangar space? Contact the Paulding County Airport Department at (770) 505-7700. You can also complete the Hangar Space Questionnaire in the PDF Library and return to the Airport Department and you will be contacted for additional information. How can I find out more about the airport? A variety of documents about the airport are currently available in the PDF Library including a Frequently Asked Question document and several policy and standards documents for airport operations and businesses wishing to be located on the airfield.
