Career
Major Morris started his career in law enforcement at the age of 18 when he began working for the Villa Rica Police Department in January 1987. While working for the Villa Rica Police Department he achieved the rank of Corporal in the Uniform Patrol Division. On August 17, 1989 he started working for the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office. While he has been employed with the Sheriff’s Office, Major Morris has worked with in the Criminal Investigation Division, the Drug Task Force, the DUI Task Force, the SWAT Team, the Uniform Patrol Division, and he has served in the Training Division and as the Assistant Commander of the SWAT Team.

Paulding County Service
Major Morris has worked in multiple divisions at the Paulding County Sheriff's Office.  He served as the Uniform Patrol Division Commander for over fifteen years.  In April of 2020 Major Morris was tasked by Sheriff Gary Gulledge take over as the Division Commander in the Courthouse Security Division.

Accomplishments
  • Major Clint Morris graduated from the Northwest Georgia Law Enforcement Academy in 1987.
  • Attended and graduated both Supervision and Management school at the Georgia Public Safety Training Academy in Forsyth, Georgia.
  • During his distinguished career in law enforcement Major Morris has been awarded the Purple Heart, Medal of Valor, and the Officer of the Year for 2001.

Personal Information
In his time away from law enforcement, Major Morris enjoys playing golf and hunting.  He is married to Dee Morris and has two adult children, John and Lauren
