  1. Ready Georgia partners with WSB-TV to give away NOAA Weather Radios

    June 1 - July 15

    For the fourth consecutive year, GEMA’s Ready Georgia campaign is partnering with WSB-TV to give away 100 NOAA Weather Radios to help get Georgians prepared for hurricane season. From June 1 through July 15, residents can visit ready.ga.gov and create a Ready Profile for a chance to win one of these lifesaving devices. Those who register will also get a personal preparedness plan and a customized checklist of emergency supplies. NOAA Weather Radios are as crucial in the home as smoke detectors, yet more than 70 percent of the state’s population does not have one of these life-saving devices. Kroger stores statewide are also offering weather radios at discounted prices throughout hurricane season. We hope you will help us spread the word about this promotion! Thank you!
