1. What forms of payment are accepted by the Juvenile Court?

The Court only accepts money orders payable to the Paulding County Juvenile Court. 

Please contact the Clerks Office to verify the exact amount due.

2. If I cannot afford an attorney, how do I apply for a court-appointed attorney?

For delinquent cases, contact the Public Defender’s Office at (770) 443-3463. There is a $50 application fee collected by the Public Defender’s Office.

For dependency action, visit the Clerk’s Office or the Juvenile Court Forms to complete a Financial Affidavit for Appointment of Counsel form. The Clerk’s Office is located at:

Written verification of income must be provided before the application can be processed. There is no application fee.

3. Where do I pay fines or make restitution payments?

Payments are made at the:

The office accepts payments Monday - Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
