On 3/11/23, Paulding County staff responded to a resident calling about an overflowing manhole. An overflow was observed at 2:20 pm at a manhole across from 618 Seven Hills Blvd. Water Department staff found a 2 inch diameter piece of PVC pipe feet lodged in the manhole. The lodged pipe was removed from the manhole, the main was flushed to remove additional debris and the manhole lid was replaced on the blocked manhole putting the line back in service at 10:00 pm. Approximately 920 gallons of untreated wastewater spilled onto the ground and into a tributary of Little Pumpkinvine Creek. Lime has been applied at the site and signs have been placed at the creek.
