On 1/31/2023 a report was called in that a manhole was overflowing behind 372 Garnet Drive. A Collections crew was dispatched, arriving on scene at 10:00 am and located the manhole. The crew utilized concentrated flushing of the line to remove a blockage of grease and accumulated debris that caused the overflow and the main was flowing freely again by 12:30 pm. An inspection of the area was conducted, lime was applied, signs were posted and the area was left free of debris. An estimated 3000 gallons of sewer was released from the manhole on to the ground and entered a tributary of Westbrook Creek.
