On 11/23/2022 a homeowner called our emergency dispatch line and reported an overflowing manhole at 94 Boxelder Court. Our Collection crews were dispatched, arriving on scene at 12:45 p.m. and located the manhole. Collection crews utilized concentrated flushing of the line with the jetter to remove a blockage and accumulated debris that caused the overflow. The manhole was cleared and the main was flowing freely again by 2:45 p.m. An inspection of the area was conducted, lime was applied and the area was left free of debris. An estimated 3600 gallons of sewer was released from the manhole and flowed on the ground entering Little Pumpkinvine Creek.
