On 5/27/2022 at 9:00 p.m. Paulding County dispatchers received a call that a manhole behind 74 White Oak Drive in Natures Walk subdivision was overflowing. Crews arrived at 9:30 p.m. Pump trucks were used to stop the spill. The pumps were pulled and unclogged and the station was returned to normal operation. The spill was stopped at 11:00 p.m. The sewer was flowing at 20 gallons per minute for 120 minutes. A total of 2400 gallons of sewer went onto the ground and into Pumpkinvine Creek. Lime was applied to the area and a sign was placed at the creek. A technician from the authorized service center is scheduled to be on-site and review pump station operation this week.
