On 9/24/2021 at 3:45 p.m., dispatch received a call about a spill from a resident. The spill was discovered on a line that was clogged with debris. Bypass pumps were set up and debris was removed from the main. The main was returned to normal operation at 5:00 a.m. on 9/25/2021. The spill was estimated at 9,044 gallons of untreated wastewater spilled onto the ground and into Raper Creek. Signs were placed at the creek and lime was applied to the affected areas.
