On 2/14/2021 Paulding County Water System crews discovered a sewer spill at Due West Lift Station. Approximately 41,000 gallons of untreated wastewater spilled onto the ground and into a tributary of Possum Creek in the vicinity of the Due West Lift Station. The bypass pumps were returned to normal operation and the station was pumped down. Cleanup procedures were followed accordingly to EPD guidelines.
