Odor complaints came in on 8/21/2019. At approximately 11:30
a.m. a manhole was discovered to be overflowing. Crews used a jet truck to free
grease build up from the gravity main. The main began to flow again. Approximately
155,063 gallons of untreated wastewater overflowed out of a manhole and into a
low lying area that retains water and eventually flows to Mill Creek. Sampling
began as soon as it was discovered and signs were placed at the creek.
