Friday, May 31st
If you have you ever wanted to see the construction of a major infrastructure project in person, now is your chance. The Richland Creek Water Supply program is the largest project ever undertaken by Paulding County and will bring a new drinking water supply source to the County as well as recreational opportunities on a new 300-acre lake. This is an opportunity to see first hand what a large $215 million construction project looks like.
On Friday, May 31st, a series of tours will be open to the public. We will tour the new water treatment plant, the reservoir intake and pump station, as well as the new dam construction. You must sign up for one of the available spaces in order to attend.
Attendees should wear closed toe shoes. A safety vest and hard hat will be provided to tour attendees.
