the opening of absentee ballots cast in the may 24, 2022 general primary/special election we begin monday, may 16, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. in the county administration building on the 2nd floor in the board of commissioner meeting room located at 240 constitution blvd., dallas. the opening of absentee ballots will continue as needed through 7:00 p.m. on tuesday, may 24, 2022.
The Board of elections will also call their election meeting to order. This meeting will remain open until the certification of the election on May 31, 2022
WE ENCOURAGE OUR VOTERS TO WATCH THE INFORMATIONAL VIDEOS BELOW CONCERNING THE ABSENTEE BALLOT APPLICATION PROCESS AND THE COMPLETION OF THE ABSENTEE BALLOT PACKET TO BETTER EDUCATE AND INFORM SO THAT EVERY ELIGIBLE VOTE COUNTS.

Notice is hereby given that Cynthia Starke-Jones, a candidate for Post 3 Commissioner SPECIAL ELECTION ONLY, has been disqualified from seeking office in the May 24, 2022 POST 3 COMMISSIONER Special Election.
As required by the Official Code of Georgia, Title 21, Chapter 2, Section 6(b)(c), “all votes cast for such withdrawn candidate shall be void and shall not be counted.”
Ms. Starke-Jones was disqualified on May 6, 2022 @ 9:00 a.m.

Notice is hereby given that the logic and accuracy testing and preparation of voting equipment to be used in the May 24, 2022 General Primary/Special Election will begin at 9:00 a.m. on April 20, 2022. Testing will continue until complete and is open to the public. Said testing and preparation will be conducted at the Paulding County Board of Elections Office located at 240 Constitution Blvd., Dallas, GA.
